Eco Zip Adventures

EcoZip Adventures is NZ’s premier operator of zipline and eco-tourism experiences. Our new Kaiköura operation is located on a beautiful, 3,000-acre working hill station, just minutes south of town. Here we weave together excitement, adventure, scenery and conservation in a spectacular experience that’s perfect for adventure and nature lovers of all ages and abilities.

Following our highly successful model of Explore, Adventure, Discover, our guests first enjoy a scenic crossing of the braided Kahutara River, in our unique 4X4 Unimog, before exploring Rakanui Station.

Adventure awaits and a short nature walk leads to the first of five giant, dual ziplines. Varying in length from 250m to 620m, our guests zip side-by-side in pairs on ziplines that each offer remarkable ocean and mountain views.
Later they discover how their participation in an EcoZip experience is helping to fund the restoration of NZ’s precious native forests. Throughout their experience, our guests are accompanied by a pair of expert guides, who recount the stories and legends that bring to life the history of Kaiköura.

Built on a foundation of sustainability, when your guests zip with EcoZip they’ll leave with incredible memories and the knowledge they’ve left a lasting environmental legacy.
